I noticed that the blog sidebar is too cluttered.
Too much categories, really long intros… not much user friendliness in there. So instead of writing today, I spent my online time sorting the blog out. I’ve tried ordering the categories by filing them in a hierarchal format (like OpenLoft’s file categories) but in this theme I’m using, the sub-categories don’t indent to the side. As a result it doesn’t show whether Video Games is a sub-category of Computers, or a separate category in itself. Too messy.
So instead I’ve fused together some sections that are related, renamed some sections and added new mouse-over tooltips over the categories to explain their purpose (just point the mouse pointer over a category and let it there for a while, the tooltip should pop out). And in the case of useless posts like my checklists, deleted (only the file category though, the post still exists within the archives)
Hopefully, things will be much more simpler this time around.
And, oh, for my old subscribers who are used to the right-handed sidebar from the old blog theme, sorry about this one being positioned on the left. I want to try editing the CSS of the blog, but I need to pay for the feature first in order to do so. And I really don’t have any spare change in my pockets. Nor in my piggy banks. Nor in my brother’s piggy bank.
See you next post, guys.

Well, here’s banner version 3.5, as well as a new theme for the blog. The banner is actually more of a spur of the moment thing, it took me less than five minutes to whip it up, so it’s pretty simple… but I’ve learned that simplicity also has its strengths…
Let’s just pray that there will be no more disasters like banner version 3.

Woah! Been gone again for half a month. Blame Christmas, and the vacation that comes with it.
A lot of things happened, some stupid, mostly idiotic, but for now the only update will be the freakingly horrible version 3 banner for the blog, which is a Photoshop experiment. Seriously, I need to flex the artistic muscles in my brain more. I’m losing my touch.
It’s already January 4, and my thesis defense (part 3) is due on the 12th. And frankly, I got nothing solid in my game program to present yet. Zip, Nope, Nada. So, I’m going to be cramming (like any good college student) again, so I’m taking my leave again. DAMNED GAME THESIS!!!!!
That aside, leave some comments on how despicable the new banner is. Maybe I can work something out? … Nah.

Wow. FD has finally reached 1000 hits.
So I would like to interrupt my usual rambling, to thank all of you readers (yes, you three) for sticking with me for almost a year now, even when my articles don’t make sense, have no pictures and even when grammatical and spelling errors are abound. It’s nice to know somebody out there is even remotely interested in what I’m thinking. Kinda makes everything I’ve slogged into here worth the trouble.
So, thanks again, and let’s all hope there’s more damn stuff to write about, and I won’t be pathetically late in writing about it. Yee-haa!
Whew. I thought my PC was a goner.
It turns out the horrible slew of errors was simply caused by a CMOS error, or in layman’s terms, the small battery in my motherboard (the one powering the internal clock and bios memory settings) ran dry. Pfft. I didn’t know new motherboards responded to CMOS errors that way.
But still, it turns out that my Video Card’s kicked the bucket, and the fan is busted. If I can replace the card fan, it’s all good, but if not, I’ll be out hunting a suitable replacement again. dang. (Good thing my motherboard’s got a built in video card)
Also, the modem seems to be the component causing the frequent blue screen crashes, since I tried dialling up in the newly restored system…and met the same horrible results. After I yanked the card out of the board, the system’s back in shape. And that means no more home internet for now, and back to my old lifestyle of haunting PC rental shops from all across town.
Dang, life ain’t so good…
Last saturday, I finally found the action figure that I was searching for 2 years- the Marvel Legends Series VIII Modern Armor Iron Man. Never mind that I had to shell big bucks just to get it, this figure was the holy grail of my collection, if you can call it that way. So there it was, all nice and shiny in my collection cabinet, sharing the space with six other Iron Man pieces… I thought all’s right with the world.
And then my PC crashed. Horribly. I still don’t know what caused it- my brother’s collection of files from all over, which are probably infested with all sorts of virii and trojans, or the dirt and heat, or excessive overworking of the PC… whatever the reason was, the computer wasn’t working, and the symptoms changed from my video card’s fan not working, to a slew of BIOS error codes…it could be even worse.
So, here I am at school again, blogging this out. Maybe I won’t be logging again for awhile, as I struggle to fix the darn thing. And all of this happening during thesis week. I just have all the luck….
Gonna be busy this week, with my first thesis documentation pre-defense being held next Saturday, September 1. So I’m gonna be brushing up on my oratory skills (as if) and tweaking my documentation a lot, so posting schedules will be erratic again.
Just an advance warning. Don’t want to turn you people off again by suddenly vanishing into thin air, eh?

Well, as you can see, I changed the banner now, to give newcomers a better idea of what I’m usually discussing about. And you know what that is.
I also added images to old articles about figures, but I’m still starting, so it’ll take a while before I complete them all…(with all the work and what not), but I managed to fix this article:

Click!
Seems my brother did keep his promise after all! He brought home an Olympus FE240 this friday and finally things are getting ontrack. So you can expect pictures on articles such as figure reviews and such.
There will be a new page, called The Cabinet, which will have some blurry snapshots of the figures I’ve been blabbing all those weeks about. And the figure collection article will be transferred here.
Just a FYI…
