PSE Solid Collection 3.0 Range Murata Figure no 11- A one-coin figure, from a collection of illustrations straight out from Range Murata’s artbooks and from Wani Magazine. In case you don’t know, Range Murata is the character designer of Last Exile and Spy Fiction. He also appears on the magazine Robot. I like Range Murata’s works, he has a distinctive design style and his coloring is terrific. I once spent 1100 pesos to buy the PSE Solid Collection 1.5 set, five small figures in all, which if you melt together, will not even amount to the plastic used to make a single American action figure. But hey, I really like the man’s works. I wish I could buy a single issue of Robot too, but it costs 3000 pesos a pop, and it’s not Range Murata exclusive.

So anyway, Figure 11 (they have no names) is the one featured on the box art. She sorta looks like Lavie Head (from Last Exile) in a snazzy futuristic outfit. Contains small delicate parts, and is made of decent PVC. The sculpture and paint application is not as lively as the illustrations, but you know that it is certainly inspired by Range’s work.
